There was some fodder a few weeks back where some peeps got upset on tumblr that Anders would + friend you if you turned Fenris back to Danarius. Well, it goes both ways, apparently except Fenris wants Anders dead/tranquil/something.
If you take Fenris with you into the fade with Anders during Night Terrors and side with the sloth demon, causing Justice to turn against the entire party, you will result in gaining friendship points from Fenris even though an innocent life is at stake, and I am not talking about Anders.
aw yea guess what song from which soundtrack i was listening to all night
His first night in Kirkwall, he still wore it. The earring. Frivolous, cold band of metal that it was. As though anything could really be whole and round without devouring itself end to end. As though circles were more than the empty space within, more than the line drawn around the circumference.
But he knew what circles were. What they were more than. That he was more than their empty space within, more than the line drawn around the circumference.
His first night in Kirkwall, he seemed to have come full circle.
He missed laughing, however shallow the sound, at a good pun now and then.
There were rats in Darktown. He was in a place called Darktown. To begin with, that wasn’t very promising. To end with, there were rats and it was Darktown. And someone moaning outside in an alley. And the sense that all things had drawn on and on toward their inevitable beginning-end. To be a healer, there had to be someone to heal. If there was someone to heal, there was someone to hurt. And so on and so forth. And the rat nibbling at the food or food waste-product smeared across the toe of his boot.
His first night in Kirkwall, he closed his eyes to the drumming sound behind the lids. He saw, faintly, against the darkness—naturally—of Darktown, that there was the strangest of light veining the shadows. Little flickers of promise and hope. Not gold at all, you see, but true white light, rimmed in fiercest blue. Vein after vein that steadied his pulse.
He was in a place called Darktown. And someone had to burn. A torch. An emblem. A beacon. One bright light.
‘At least I have the kindling,’ he said, rubbing the feathers on his shoulders.
Only that wouldn’t do. He’d have to become more—burn long, not just burn bright. So he made himself a little torch to see by. He hung a lantern over an abandoned door. He rubbed his hands together and dragged an empty chest for donations across the floor, the rats watching. The darkness watching. There was nothing inside that chest. Nothing to plant; nothing to grow. He had no idea what would come, drawn by the light. What moths would flutter; what else would kindle.
His first night in Kirkwall, he bowed his head. He took out the earring and left it in the empty box. In the morning, it was gone.
The way of all circles.
An empty ‘oh, no.’
Anders with a cold all wrapped up in a blanket and awaiting attention?
I’ll take fifty.
*JIC you’re wondering, I used a very specific picture of Nate as reference for this one…;)*
“come now Fenris,” Anders said as he wandered over to the group gathered in front of the Hawke estate. “You really must stop brooding like that, it is a complete distraction.”
All the commissions and requests I have had done for Anders and Thera Hawke. All in one photoset.
Abandoned thing I’ll never have time to finish, from a time long ago when I was in the mood to draw all the silly faces and Megamind was on loop at work and I couldn’t stop laughing at this scene. X3
(click-through because there is no way Tumblr is going to suffer legibility in comics.)
I think I know now why I hate/love Anders… he loves kittens … and he wants to destroy all templars (which would include Cullen and I just love Cullen…) XD
But Anders has great features to practise drawing destinct faces… so I took one of my ingame screenshots and sketched this ^^”
Photo taken with iPhone and this time I retouched it a little with Photoshop ^^” sorry for all the Anders-Spam lately… I should try drawing Fenris, too… and Zevran and Alistair… D:
